Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data I collect when you use feelproductive.co or take The Productivity Stack Score at score.feelproductive.co, what I do with it and what your rights are. I've tried to keep it in plain English.
1. Who I am
I'm Ez, and I run Feel Productive. The data controller is Feel Productive Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13865339). Registered office: 2 The Carriages, Station Road, Ware, SG12 9PL, United Kingdom.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email me at Ez.Balci@FeelProductive.co.
2. What I collect
When you take The Productivity Stack Score
- Your first name and email address
- Your answer to each of the 15 questions, your score for each of the five layers, your overall score and your weakest layer
- The tools you tell me you use for each layer, including any you type in yourself
- If you click "Count me in", your interest in the Starter Kit and anything you tell me you'd want from it
- Whether you ticked the consent box, and when
I save your answers so I can tailor your results and the emails I send you.
Your results page also keeps your answers and the tools you picked in its web address, so your results are still there if you refresh. That part of the address stays in your browser and isn't sent to me, but it will be in your browser history, and anyone you share the link with can see your results. It never includes your name, your email or anything you typed in.
When you sign up to the newsletter or download a guide
- Your email address
When you comment on a blog post
- The name you give and your comment, which are public once I've approved them
When you visit the site
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and device, which my hosting provider logs automatically
When you contact me
- Your name, email address and whatever you tell me in your message
3. Why I use your data and my legal basis
| What I do | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Show you your score and send your results and follow-up emails | You asked for them by completing the check-up and ticking the consent box | Consent |
| Send you the Feel Productive newsletter, if you've opted in | To share apps, tips and updates | Consent |
| Tell you when the Starter Kit is ready, if you click "Count me in" | You asked to hear about it | Consent |
| Tailor your results and emails to your answers, your weakest layer and the tools you use | So the tips and suggestions I show you are relevant to you | Consent |
| Protect the site from spam and abuse, including rate limiting by IP address | To keep the Productivity Stack Score and the site working properly | Legitimate interests |
| Publish blog comments | To let readers join the conversation | Legitimate interests |
| Reply to your messages | To answer your questions | Legitimate interests |
| Keep records for tax and accounting | To meet my legal duties | Legal obligation |
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Every email I send has an unsubscribe link, or you can email me.
4. Who I share your data with
I don't sell your data. I use a small number of trusted providers to run things. They only process your data on my instructions.
- Kit (ConvertKit) stores your name, email, answers, scores, tool choices and consent record, and sends my emails
- Hostinger hosts feelproductive.co and the Productivity Stack Score, stores blog comments and processes requests to the site, including your IP address
- Google provides my email, so messages you send me pass through it. It also supplies the font on feelproductive.co and YouTube supplies the video thumbnails, so your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address when those load
Some links on my Apps page are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, that company may tell me you came from my link and I may earn a commission. They have their own privacy policies, and I don't give them your details.
I may also share data if the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid request from a regulator.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, it's protected by safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.
6. How long I keep your data
- Email list data (name, email, answers, scores, tool choices): until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. If you unsubscribe, I may keep your email address on a suppression list so I don't email you again by mistake.
- Blog comments: until you ask me to remove them or I take them down.
- Server logs: for a short period, set by my hosting provider, then they're deleted.
- Messages you send me: for as long as needed to deal with your query, then deleted.
- Accounting records: for the period required by UK law, which is currently six years.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to:
- Tell you what data I hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data
- Restrict how I use your data
- Stop using your data for something based on legitimate interests
- Give you your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything I did before you withdrew
To use any of these, email Ez.Balci@FeelProductive.co. I'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
This site doesn't set any cookies or save anything on your device, and I don't use an analytics tool. If that ever changes, I'll update this policy first.
9. Children
This site isn't aimed at children, and I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think a child has given me their details, email me and I'll delete them.
10. Security
I use sensible technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and keeping my API keys out of the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but I take it seriously.
11. Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, I'll let subscribers know by email.
